I have one of your oil fruit filled containers and it never keeps burning. Even when I first received it as a gift. I can’t find my instructions or any on the web. Can you give me any recommendations on what to do.
Thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear you are having difficulties with your candle!
Here are the instructions:
The candles are filled with clear lantern oil and come sealed with a small crystal ball on the top. In order to open the candle, you need to use a blow-dryer and heat the adhesive that is holding the small crystal ball in place. As the adhesive warms, it will loosen the ball so you can remove it, leaving a hole. The packet that comes with the candle contains the fiberglass wick (along with instructions and a funnel). This wick is placed in the hole which can then be lit. The wick is appx 3-4” in length and must be touching oil otherwise it will not burn. So, as you use the candle and the oil burns down, the candle will need to be refilled. Oil refills are available at any home improvement or craft store; it’s smokeless and odorless lantern oil. To refill, use the funnel provided and pour the oil inside the hole at the top.
If you have done all of these steps properly and you are still are having difficulties, please feel free to bring the candle into the store and we can take a look at it for you. Or if you need a replacement pack with the wick, funnel and instructions, I’m happy to provide one to you, just let me know your name and when you can stop by and I’ll make sure it’s here for you 🙂
I hope this helps and please do let me know if I can assist with anything further!
