Master Suite Project (Part II)Not everyone has the luxury to have a seating area as a part of their master bedroom, but our clients had a great loft space adjacent to their bedroom that they loved but didn’t know how to utilize. As you can see in the photo, the loft was a forgotten space that only collected everything else that didn’t have a home elsewhere.
Master Suite Project (Part I)
Our 4-poster king size bed started it all! When our client walked into our showroom, she fell in love with a bed we had on display. She realized that she always wanted a king size bed, but had never replaced the queen bed she had now. After living in this home for 20 years and sleeping on on a queen size bed, this was a good reason to make her dream become a reality.
Master Bathroom RemodelThese clients came to us with one simple wish: make their bathroom more functional. The couple and their family have lived in this home for over 20 years and have made several attempts to make their bathroom work better for their everyday use. Unfortunately, the bathroom has only been updated with new tiles and fixtures, but it has never been completely redesigned to serve them better. Enter Linly Designs! With a family of 6, the most important focus of this room that is used on a daily basis is having enough seating. We didn’t want to fill the room with just anything to get as much seating as possible. Quality, not quantity.
Hinsdale Home – Project Completed! (Part I)It’s been a long journey for our client and our designers. This was not just a decorating project, but a complete home remodeling project. Our client had hired a local contracting company to put in an addition on the back of their home, ultimately expanding their existing kitchen. She loved the entire concept and the layout of the kitchen but wanted our input on the final finishes of the cabinetry, design details, hardware, and other selections to tie the space together. We had made several changes such as the cabinetry color, and adding architectural elements such as corbels, arches, and decorative details to the existing cabinetry design. We had also suggested dropping a beam in the center of the kitchen slightly lower than first suggested to create an architectural detail. This would also hide the existing steel beam that supported the new addition. Bathroom RemodelingIt always seems that once we complete one project in a client’s home, we end up moving through their entire home, or at least one floor to begin with! And it’s no different with this project. Our clients came to us with a request to give them an updated look for their kitchen. Once that was completed, the results were so fantastic and the clients loved it and felt that since the process was so fast and smooth, and they loved the end result, they wanted to continue working with us for their next project. Hinsdale Home – Project Underway!Since we often post before and after shots of completed projects, we thought it would be great if our readers could get a glimpse into the middle stages of a project, before we complete it! We recently started on a great new project in Hinsdale. We met the client during our Open House event in April, and she visited our showroom about a month later to speak with us about her home, and from there she scheduled an In-Home Consultation. We are now in the middle of the project, assisting with her kitchen remodel and also helping design a fireplace mantle with built-ins, as well as coordinate furniture, rugs, lighting and window treatments, and eventually accessories, for her entire lower level.

It’s Time For Your Accessory Call!Time and time again, we have clients walk in to our showroom with the look of exhaustion and frustration on their faces as a result of the overwhelming idea of accessorizing their home.
